We are the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, the membership body for UK fundraising. We are a charity representing and championing the work of individual fundraisers, charities, and their partners. We believe fundraising can be the most rewarding of careers, full of contribution and achievement.
WE BELIEVE
Career fundraisers need commitment, investment, and support from their organisations.
When Charities raise more money, a better world can be made.
Committed, motivated and skilled fundraisers deliver the best return on investment.
When fundraisers support each other it increases the impact of their organisation and the whole sector.
Career fundraisers have a lifetime of impact, raising the most money in the best way
Fundraising is not merely a necessity but fundamentally good for everybody.

Why the Chartered Institute of Fundraising is supporting Boardroom Apprentice

The Boardroom Apprentice programme was introduced to us by our Chair, Nadine Campbell, who is a graduate and champion of the programme. We hosted our first apprentice in 2023 and were delighted to hear that she since secured a board position within the charity sector. We are currently hosting our second apprentice. Both apprentices have brought so much knowledge, experience and willingness to participate and learn, we have found it a mutually enriching and informative process. We are therefore keen to continue to learn, be challenged, and to support apprentices on their journeys.
