Why Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland is supporting Boardroom Apprentice

HFBI are committed to diversity, in employing both staff and trustees but also in our grant making. Our Chief Executive was a Boardroom Apprentice, class of 2019 and is a huge advocate for the programme. In 2021, we took on our first trustee who went through the programme. we believe the BA programme gives people who otherwise would struggle to gain a place around the board table a fighting chance to be considered for such roles. We are keen to show our support, and give a BA the opportunity to learn from us.
