incredABLE is a voluntary organisation creating meaningful social, recreational, and educational opportunities for people with a learning disability and/or Autism. incredABLE individuals are empowered to make choices, discover talents, realise passions, and participate in community on their own terms.
People with a learning disability and/or autism and their carers often require recurring if not life-long support. Our organisation, through our broad range of projects and services, allow us to respond to these needs. Our key activities & services are summarised as follows-
• Short Breaks- Offering group residentials of between 2-7 nights in a variety of venues throughout Northern Ireland for both children and adults
• Bespoke Individual and Group service- Individualised respite support on a one to one or small group basis, in the community.
• Three cafes, open to the public, offering training and work placement to individuals with a Learning Disability and/or Autism in order to gain meaningful employment in the hospitality industry.
• We also had a growing range of social impact micro enterprises that have the potential to grow and become standalone enterprises as part of a group structure e.g. making chocolate products; Print merchandising; self-catering accessible accommodation etc.
Why incredABLE is supporting Boardroom Apprentice
incredABLE has just embarked on a new three year plan, aiming to grow the organisation, creating more meaningful opportunities for individuals with a learning difficulty and/or autism. There are exciting strategic plans in place which we believe a great learning opportunity for a Boardroom Apprentice.
Location of Board and Committee Meetings
Every two months – second Monday @ 4-5pm. A hybrid model – some meetings online and some face to face, normally either from our HQ in Richhill or South Lake Leisure Centre.
