Why NIAO Advisory Board is supporting Boardroom Apprentice
This is seen as a win-win for both parties. The apprentice will: learn from the skillset brought to the Board by our NEDs, including HR, accountancy, leadership and business development; gain a better understanding of the role of audit; and develop a new network of contacts.
For the Audit Office, this provides us with an opportunity to add diversity to the Board membership and to bring a different perspective to the business of the Board.
