Orchardville Society Ltd (Orchardville), a Northern Ireland based charity and social enterprise has been supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism for almost 40 years. We have a strong track record in successfully delivering employability and community inclusion projects and we have provided some of the most disadvantaged and marginalised people in society with the opportunity to train, develop skills and to become more independent and more employable. We currently support almost 600 people with learning disability and/or autism annually in 6 district council areas.
Orchardville also operates several social enterprises, 3 of which are coffee shops, operating as commercial businesses, competing with other coffee shops while also adding value and delivering social change by providing on-site training and mentoring to people with learning disability and/or autism to improve their employability skills and secure paid employment. We are proud and honoured to have won the 2019 UK Social Enterprise Award for Employment, Training and Jobs.

Location of Board and Committee Meetings
Board meeting take place at 16.30, usually for 1hr 30 mins, and are currently done via Zoom although when safe to do so, will revert to face to face meetings which will generally be held at our head office, 144-152 Ravenhill Road, Belfast.

Board meetings take place in May, Aug and Nov 2021 and Feb & March 22. Board meetings take place at 16.30 hours.
