Relate NI has been supporting people and their relationships in Northern Ireland since 1947. While we are best known for our work with couples, Relate NI works with children and young people, individuals, couples and whole families to support the development of healthy relationships. We do this through education as well as through counselling provision. Our vision is of a future where healthy relationship are actively promoted as the heart of a thriving society, and our mission is to make expert information and support for healthy relationships available to everyone.

Why Relate NI is supporting Boardroom Apprentice

Relate NI are committed to supporting meaningful opportunities for a wide pool of people to have the skills, knowledge and experience to be able to create social change through governance.

Location of Board and Committee Meetings

Over the last year, Board and Committee meetings have been facilitated via digital platforms as well as at our offices on Glengall Street in central Belfast.

Frequency and timing of board/committee meetings

Board and Committee meetings happen 6 times per year. 4 of these meetings focus on routine business, one meetings is a Trustee Away Day, and the final meeting is the organisation’s Team Away Day in December each year. Board meetings start at 5.30 pm with the other meetings being held during the day.
