Relate NI has been supporting people and their relationships in Northern Ireland since 1947. While we are best known for our work with couples, Relate NI works with children and young people, individuals, couples and whole families to support the development of healthy relationships. We do this through education as well as through counselling provision. Our vision is of a future where healthy relationship are actively promoted as the heart of a thriving society, and our mission is to make expert information and support for healthy relationships available to everyone.

Location of Board and Committee Meetings

Glengall Street, Belfast. Over the last year, Board and Committee meetings have been facilitated via digital platforms. 

Frequency and timing of board/committee meetings

Board and Committee meetings happen 6 times per year. Board meetings happen in a Monday evening, after 5pm and Committee meetings are held at lunchtime. 

Date of Board Meetings (September 2021 – August 2022)

Mon 06 September 2021 at 5pm; Mon 08 November 2021 at 5pm. 2022 Meeting dates will be circulated at November meeting, however the general pattern is the first or second Monday of January, March, May, July (subject to change).

Committee of the Boards and meeting dates (September 2021 – August 2022)

Timings for our single Sub-Committee, Audit & Risk, are currently being reviewed. They normally happen over lunch on a weekday, and generally 1-2 weeks in advance of the board meetings.
