Transport Focus is the independent watchdog for transport users. We are an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Transport. We’re led by a Board of non-executive directors and run by a management team.

Transport Focus’s heritage goes back to the 1947 Transport Act. We’ve changed quite a lot over the years. But we always put transport users first.

Transport Focus are committed to upholding best practice and good governance principles. It would be important to pay-forward our corporate social responsibility and support the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government in this important initiative. Further, there is potential for mutual benefit in succession planning and recruitment endeavours for the existing Transport Focus board.
