The Wales Office is a UK Government department with offices in London and Cardiff. It serves as the vital link between the UK Government and Wales, ensuring Wales’ voice is heard in Westminster and UK Government policies effectively serve the people of Wales. We support the Secretary of State for Wales and Ministerial team in representing Wales’ interests at the heart of government, collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to build a stronger Wales within a thriving United Kingdom.

Why the Wales Office is supporting Boardroom Apprentice
We value the opportunity this scheme offers to people from all backgrounds interested in gaining experience of public sector Boards. We support Apprentices both personally and professionally through mentoring, and offer them a unique opportunity to engage with Ministers and find out more about the civil service and how government operates.
Location of Board and Committee Meetings
All Boards are hybrid however we would encourage the Boardroom Apprentice to attend in person. Meetings are held either at our offices on Whitehall, Central London or in Cardiff
